The beginner series is perfect for the brand new yoga student, or the student with an existing practice, who wants to refine technique and revisit basics.
Week One : What is Vinyasa Yoga, and what can Yoga do for You
Philosophy of the vinyasa yoga practice, and an intro to the foundation poses.
Week Two : Posture, Alignment, and Sun Salutations
How a proper , safe, vinyasa is done.
Week Three: Exploring the Warrior Poses, Balance poses, and Basic understaning of standing sequencing.
Week Four : Hip Openers, Backbending, and Basic understanding of the seated postures
Week Five : A roundtable discussion of thoughts, struggles, discoveries, and any questions, or thoughts that have come up so far. Using our discussion to put together a light flow practice.
Week Six : Putting it all together! We will take everything we have learned and do a slow flow vinyasa class!
